How often do you bake each day?

We bake 3-5 times a day in an effort to provide you with the freshest cupcake possible. Whenever we have cupcakes left at the end of the day, we take them to the Hospice House or our local fire and police stations. While our cupcakes may be better the next day, we let you make that decision at home. We never serve day old cupcakes to you in our store.

Why do you sometimes sell out?

Believe it or not, we don’t like to sell out of cupcakes. We want you to be able to come by right up until we close (or after – we keep the doors open past closing time if we still have cupcakes) and get cupcakes. Since our cupcakes go to good homes when they are left at the end of the day, we would rather have them left over than sold out. We base our baking on past sales and we bake again as necessary. We make every effort to have product available but sometimes we simply sell out before we close. To ensure you get the cupcakes you want, call us and place an order. It doesn’t matter that you can’t get by until 7:15pm, we’ll hold your order until you can pick it up. We want you to get what you want. There is nothing worse than watching a grown man cry because we sold out of the Sinfully Salted Caramel cupcake he loves on each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

You are usually sold out of the one I want. How do I make sure I get the cupcake I’m craving when I want it?

Call us and place an order. We’ll box it up with your name on it and you can pick it up before we close that day. We love happy customers and we know all about those “gotta have it” cravings!

Should I refrigerate my cupcakes?

No, that will dry them out. We make our cupcakes fresh daily, using only the finest ingredients. Our cupcakes are made without preservatives and should be enjoyed on the day purchased. If you plan on storing them overnight, store the cupcakes in an air tight container or wrap the box tightly in plastic wrap. Cupcakes may be stored in this manner for up to 2 days.

Do your cupcakes contain any artificial ingredients or preservatives?

Only our red velvet and banana pudding contain artificial coloring. All other cupcakes do not contain any artificial ingredients. We use butter, whole milk, eggs, cream, sugar, flour, and other premium ingredients to make our cupcakes the best we feel they can be.

I have food allergies. Does Extraordinary Cupcakes make anything wheat, nut, sugar, or dairy free?

We use butter, whole milk, eggs, cream, sugar, flour, nuts, and other premium ingredients. All of our products contain wheat, sugar, and dairy products and are made in the same area where products containing various nut items are made. We recommend not consuming any of our products if you have any food allergies.

Does Extraordinary Cupcakes have any gluten-free items?

After much research and testing we found that Chef Thomas Keller’s Gluten Free C4C Flour is the best on the market and we offer limited quantities of gluten-free cupcakes on Saturdays for $4 each or $3.75 by the dozen.
